I want to know” is a partnership project between disability arts organizations from Germany, Luxembourg, Ireland and England. During four different projects the artists travel to the partner organizations to get to know each other and their studios. The focus of each visit is to produce a collaborative artwork. Here art becomes the medium of communication and cross cultural cooperation. The project will represent an “inspirational kick” to the learning of all involved. It aims to go beyond one´s existing skills and to broaden perspectives in different countries concerning the artists’ work and their creativity and the similarities and differences of disabled arts practice across Europe. Many of the participants will travel abroad for the first time. The learning from this project will develop the future work of the individual organizations as well as to create potential joint ventures.
